Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Return to Self and the Inner Safety Portal ("the Service"), operated by Harbor Point Press LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Not a Substitute for Therapy

Return to Self is a self-guided healing, reflection, and educational platform. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care. Nothing in the Service should be treated as clinical or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services in your area.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

Membership & Billing

• Core Membership and Inner Circle are paid subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by emailing katerina@katerina-markadakis.com. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless stated otherwise below.
• We offer refunds within 7 days of a new subscription if you have not accessed member content. After that window, payments are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to change membership pricing. Existing members will be notified in advance of any price change taking effect on their subscription.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account access with others or resell access to the Service
• Copy, distribute, or republish member content (paths, scripts, journal prompts, workshops) outside the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's security or functionality

Intellectual Property

All content within Return to Self — including healing paths, scripts, journal prompts, written material, and design — is the property of Harbor Point Press LLC and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use as a member. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific emotional, psychological, or personal outcome from using the Service. Your experience and results will vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Return to Self and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your membership at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
